CMC wird in Waschmitteln in einer Konzentration von 0,2 bis 0,81 TP15T zur Verdickung und Stabilisierung und in Handseifen in einer Konzentration von 0,3 bis 1,01 TP15T zur Verbesserung der Viskosit\u00e4t und des Hautgef\u00fchls verwendet. HPMC wird in speziellen Formulierungen, die temperaturempfindliche Eigenschaften erfordern, in einer Konzentration von 0,2\u20130,6% verwendet.
