Como macromol\u00e9cula polisac\u00e1rida natural, presenta una excelente biocompatibilidad, propiedades fisicoqu\u00edmicas distintivas y un rendimiento multifuncional. Se ha convertido en un excipiente y materia prima fundamental e indispensable en los sectores farmac\u00e9utico, alimentario, cosm\u00e9tico, de la bioingenier\u00eda y otros.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Propiedades fundamentales y caracter\u00edsticas estructurales<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El MCC est\u00e1 compuesto principalmente por mol\u00e9culas de polisac\u00e1rido lineales unidas por enlaces \u03b2-1,4-glucos\u00eddicos. La celulosa vegetal natural contiene aproximadamente un 70 % de microcelulosa cristalina y un 30 % de regiones amorfas. La hidr\u00f3lisis elimina las fracciones amorfas, dejando intactos los segmentos microcristalinos altamente cristalinos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Aspecto: Polvo cristalino fino, de color blanco o blanquecino, con un tama\u00f1o de part\u00edcula que oscila generalmente entre 20 y 80 \u03bcm, y que presenta microestructuras min\u00fasculas en forma de bastoncillos cortos o porosas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solubilidad: Insoluble en agua, \u00e1cidos diluidos, \u00e1lcalis diluidos y la mayor\u00eda de los disolventes org\u00e1nicos; parcialmente soluble o hinchable en soluciones alcalinas diluidas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Par\u00e1metros f\u00edsicos: Densidad real: 1,512\u20131,668 g\/cm\u00b3; densidad aparente: aprox. 0,337 g\/cm\u00b3. Su grado l\u00edmite de polimerizaci\u00f3n (LODP) suele situarse entre 15 y 375, con una cristalinidad generalmente superior a 60%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Estabilidad: Se mantiene estable a temperatura y presi\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9ricas normales. Presenta una elevada higroscopicidad, siendo capaz de absorber agua equivalente a entre 2 y 3 veces su propio peso y de hincharse considerablemente. Muestra una gran resistencia a la luz, al calor, a los \u00e1cidos, a los \u00e1lcalis y a otros factores ambientales adversos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Procesos de fabricaci\u00f3n<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A nivel mundial, el MCC se fabrica principalmente a partir de materias primas de celulosa natural, como el l\u00ednter de algod\u00f3n, la pulpa de madera, las c\u00e1scaras de arroz, los tallos de c\u00e1\u00f1amo, el bagazo y otras. A continuaci\u00f3n se enumeran las principales tecnolog\u00edas de producci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1.
