Toothpaste

Product models for Toothpaste applications
SEED’s cellulose ethers are used as binders in the toothpaste industry to prevent the separation of solid and liquid components. They also impart appropriate viscoelasticity and shape to the toothpaste, ensuring it forms a strip-like consistency with a good framework, adheres to the toothbrush without collapsing or thinning. Therefore, cellulose ethers used in toothpaste must not only maintain the uniformity and fluidity of the paste but also possess the properties of water retention and increased viscosity, while meeting the requirements of filling speed, that is, maintaining a lower consistency during the filling process and a higher, more suitable consistency after a certain storage period.
