Texture paint & Latex paint
Interior and exterior latex paints represent the largest coating category. Our cellulose ethers provide excellent thickening across the full pH range typical of latex paints (pH 7 to 10), unlike some thickeners that lose efficiency in alkaline conditions.
The pseudoplastic (shear-thinning) flow behavior our products impart is ideal for paint applications: high viscosity at rest prevents pigment settling during storage and reduces spattering during application, while viscosity decreases under the shear forces of brushing or rolling, enabling smooth, easy application with excellent leveling.
Water-based coatings & Oil-based coatings
